MANNING, S.C. — The body of a man was discovered in Clarendon County pond Friday afternoon.
The man's name is Leslie Howeth, and he was 74 years old, according to the Clarendon County Coroner's Office.
Friends of Howeth reportedly found his body after his family asked them to check in on him.
Cause of death is unknown at this time. An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.
