COLUMBIA, S.C. — Richland County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man who tried to use a stolen credit card at Kroger on Two Notch Road.
The credit card was among several items stolen when the victim’s car was broken into the morning of June 9.
The suspect was captured by surveillance video at the Kroger where he tried to use the card to purchase several hundred dollars in gift cards. When the transaction didn’t go through, he tried again before leaving the store.
Anyone who can identify the man in the video or has any information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips that lead to an arrest can earn the caller a reward of up to $1000.
