Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - A fire at a Lexington County apartment complex left 15 people displaced and one dog dead early Saturday morning.
Lexington police and fire services responded to a structure fire at Lakeland Apartments on Old Chapin Road around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Three units received heavy fire damage while another three suffered smoke and water damage, resulting in an estimated $330,000 in damages.
All residents were evacuated from the building, but no human injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
