Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Flu deaths continue to rise in South Carolina, with DHEC reporting 23 more deaths this past week.
Heading into its tenth consecutive week at widespread activity, South Carolina has seen 151 deaths since the season began. The latest deaths were reported in the week of February 11 to February 17.
According to the report, one child, age 4 or younger, has died from the flu this season. Majority of deaths have been seen in ages 65 and older.
