Aiken County, SC (WLTX) - A mobile home fire in Aiken County claimed the lives of three residents Thursday.
A couple, 80-year-old Mavis Willard and 67-year-old John Willard, along with 69-year-old Marvin Kirby, a friend of the couple, were the victims of the fire in Warrenville.
According to the Aiken County Coroner's Office, both Mavis and John were pronounced dead at the scene. Kirby was transported to a local medical center, where he died later that night. Autopsied are scheduled for Monday in Newberry.
Agents with the SLED Arson Team have been on the scene overnight trying to determine the cause of the fire.
