Five people have been displaced from their home after a house fire in Cayce early Wednesday morning.
Lexington County Fire Services and the Cayce Department of Public Safety responded to the house fire in the 100 block of Yashica Court around 4 a.m., according to officials. The fire began in the garage area.
No injuries were reported, but a family of five was displaced, officials say. Red Cross is assisting the family.
Officials say an investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
