Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Two of three suspects are in custody after they lead deputies on a short chase following a robbery at a Home Depot Friday.

Richland County deputies attempted to stop three male suspects while responding to a grand larceny in progress at the Home Depot at 7701 Two Notch Road around 3 p.m. Friday.

The suspects reportedly evaded arrest with a car chase, which became a foot chase when their car crashed into a citizen's car. No injuries were reported by the citizen.

Two of the suspects, 28-year-old Antonio Franklin Cunningham, Jr., and 32-year-old Brandon Sherad Vereen, were apprehended a short time later. Both have been charged with shoplifting greater than $2,000 and booked at the Richland County Detention Center.

An earlier report stated one suspect was treated for unknown injuries at Palmetto Health Richland prior to being transported to the detention center.

The investigation is ongoing.
