Fairfield County, SC (WLTX) — A reward is now being offered for information that helps deputies find a missing Fairfield County business owner last seen in October, according to officials with Crimestoppers.
The family of Douglas William Sumner, II is offering a cash reward of $1,850 to be paid through the Midlands Crime Stoppers program, officials say.
Sumner, of Angel Drive in the Great Falls area of Fairfield County, was last seen in Rock Hill at approximately 12 p.m. on October 22, according to officials. Sumner was last seen driving a black Dodge pickup truck with SC tag no. DGJ353.
Sumner, 52, is described as a white mail with brown hair and hazel eyes who stands approximately 6-feet tall and weighs around 195 pounds.
“We are obviously very concerned about the disappearance of Mr. Sumner," says Fairfield County sheriff Will Montgomery. He is a business owner and is very well-liked in the community."
Fairfield County deputies say they are working with the S.C. Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and other surrounding jurisdictions to locate Sumner.
"No tip is too small and you may be holding that vital piece of information that we need to locate Mr. Sumner," Montgomery says.
