Orangeburg, SC (WLTX) - Troopers say one person is dead and another is injured after a crash in Orangeburg County Thursday night.
Investigators say it happened around 9:25 pm on US-178 at Black Pond Road.
Troopers say a man was driving a SUV westbound when the car crossed the center line and hit a truck head-on.
The driver of the truck died on the scene. The driver of the SUV was airlifted to Trident Hospital. His condition is unknown. Both drivers were wearing a seatbelt.
Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate.
