COLUMBIA, S.C. — Josie Frost is a Multi-Skilled Journalist at WLTX in Columbia SC, covering the State House. Josie joined the team in May 2024.
Josie is a Midlands native through-and-through. She grew up in Gilbert and attended The University of South Carolina's School of Journalism and Mass Communications, where she majored in Broadcast Journalism.
At USC, Josie participated in Student Gamecock Television and her senior semester news program Carolina News, where she discovered her passion for local government and research-based political stories. She completed an internship in Myrtle Beach as a producer at WMBF News.
Josie's passion for news started early, growing up as a WLTX viewer herself. She loved the community-oriented stories and is honored to join the team.
In her free time, Josie enjoys baking, spending time with her friends, and Gamecock football.
