CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carowinds season pass holders will be able to access Six Flags parks starting Jan. 6, 2025, the park announced Thursday.
The premium season pass add-on allows free parking and entry to all legacy Cedar Fair and Six Flags parks. Other pass benefits will be available at legacy Cedar Fair parks.
The All Park Passport costs $89, according to the company's website. That add-on is available for 2025 gold ($99) and prestige passes ($260).
The All Park Passport comes just one month after Cedar Fair, Carowinds' parent company, merged with Six Flags. The combined entertainment corporation includes 27 amusement parks, 15 water parks and nine resort properties across 17 states in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
In 2019, reports indicated Six Flags was interested in acquiring Cedar Fair. Last year, the two companies announced the proposed plans to merge.
“Our capital plans for the year ahead reaffirm our commitment to providing unparalleled thrills, immersive entertainment and unforgettable memories to guests of all ages,” Six Flags President & CEO Richard A. Zimmerman said.
Last week, Carowinds unveiled plans for two new attractions for its Camp Snoopy section, including a new family-friendly roller coaster. Camp Snoopy's new attractions for 2025 include Snoopy's Racing Railway and Charlie Brown's River Raft Blast. The park also announced new splash play zones and a camp store meet-and-greet experience for guests that features the entire "Peanuts" gang.
Six Flags also said it plans to upgrade and expand its food and beverage facilities across its parks in 2025.
Carowinds is a 400-acre amusement park located on the North Carolina-South Carolina border.
