CHARLESTON, S.C. — The legendary Diana Ross is coming to South Carolina in 2020.
The leader of The Supremes will be in concert at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center on March 3, 2020. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, through Ticketmaster and the North Charleston Coliseum Advance Ticket Office.
Ross is considered to be one of the most successful recording artists and entertainers of all time, helping to shape the sound of popular music since her debut in 1959. With The Supremes, Ross had hit singles that include "Where Did Our Love Go," "Baby Love," "you Can't Hurry Love," and "Someday We'll Be Together."
As an actress, Ross appeared in "Lady Sings the Blues," "Mahogany" and "The Wiz."
The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences celebrated her remarkable career with its highest honor, The GRAMMY® Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. In 2016, Ross received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the most prestigious civilian award given to a U.S. citizen.
