COLUMBIA, S.C. — Ever wonder what it would be like to work on a popular television show? Here's your chance to find out.
HBO's Righteous Gemstones will be filming part of Season 4 in the Columbia area September 16-27 and the show is looking for locals to be background extras, cast photo doubles and stand-ins. Righteous Gemstones was created by actor/screenwriter/producer Danny McBride and follows a family of televangelists and megachurch pastors led by the widowed Eli Gemstone (John Goodman). Eli and his children Jesse (McBride), Judy (Edi Patterson) and Kelvin (Adam DeVine) live their uber-rich lives off of church donations.
Sound like something you'd be interested in? Here's what you need to do:
- Submit the following details to TRG4extras@gmail.com:
- In the email subject line put your Age, Ethnicity, Gender, City/State of residence. (Example: 38, Caucasian Female, Columbia, SC)
- In the body of the email, attach 2 recent photos (one head shot, one full body photos). Photos should accurately reflect current hair length/style/color as well as facial hair status for males. Photos should NOT include sunglasses, hats, costumes, or social media filters. Photos can be taken with a cell phone and should be current. Add the following information:
- Name
- Phone Number
- Age
- City/State of residence
- Height/weight
- Complete clothing & shoe sizes with recent measurements for wardrobe purposes
- Description of visible tattoos & piercings
- Color/make/model/year of the vehicle(s) you drive (some folks are cast just for their cars)
