Billy Joel, Sting to perform at Bank of America Stadium in 2025

Two of the most iconic artists in history will take the stage for one night only in Charlotte next year.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Billy Joel and Sting, two of the most successful and well-known artists in the last 50 years, announced a one-night-only performance at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte next year.

The music icons will join forces to perform in the Queen City on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Joel and Sting will perform their biggest hits during the special concert, taking fans on an epic tour of their illustrious careers.

Tickets go on sale for the show on Friday, Oct. 4, at 9 a.m. through Live Nation. Citi cardmembers will have access to special pre-sale tickets starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 30. The pre-sale runs through 10 p.m. on Oct. 3.

Joel is the fourth best-selling artist in history with over 160 million records sold worldwide. His string of 33 top 40 hits began with his iconic "Piano Man," which Joel wrote back in 1973. In 2016, the song was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Recording Registry for its "cultural, historic and artistic significance."

Sting will make a special stop in Charlotte as part of his "Sting 3.0" world tour. He's joined by guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas for the tour. The legendary singer will perform all of his biggest hits during the show while also featuring his latest single, "I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)."
