New York, NY (WLTX) -- CBS announced the 18 castaways slated to compete on this fall's 29th edition of "Survivor: San Juan del Sur," with the return of the "Blood vs. Water" theme.
On September 24th at 8:00PM (eastern) Survivor returns for a 90-minute premiere episode, along with Emmy-Award winning host Jeff Probst.
This season marks the return of "Blood vs. Water," with the castaways competing with, and ultimately against their loved ones, and the return of Exile Island, where one pairing will square off in a battle that will send the loser to Exile Island, and the winner receiving reward for their tribe. Alliances and relationships will be tested and bonds will be broken when mothers, daughters, brothers, spouses and partners vie against each other in the ultimate competition, raising the question of which is thicker: Blood or Water?
