Sumter, SC (WLTX) - Pilots from the Wild Weasel mission are reuniting this weekend at the Shaw Air Force Base.
The 20th Fighter Wing is hosting over 60 veterans and their loved ones. During the visit, the veterans saw a Command F-16 Fighting Falcom demo team, toured several F-16 static displays and will participate in a wreath laying ceremony at Memorial Lake Park.
Major Adam Thornton with the Air Force says it was a treat to host the Weasels. "These are the same guys that they were 40 years ago when they were flying" he said.
The activities will continue through Saturday.
