HOUSTON — Thousands of bees were making themselves right at home in the garage of our own Shern-Min Chow.
It was a whole hive of bees living in the walls of her garage. In fact, the bee expert she called to remove them estimated there were around 48,000!
That bee expert, Mark Lockhart, used thermal imaging to see the hive, which went from the floor all the way up to the ceiling.
Lockhart cut holes in the wall of the garage and took out the hive piece by piece. He didn't kill the bees. Instead, he took them to set up shop at his place.
During the bee removal, Shern-Min was documenting and she put together a video, which you can see below. It shows step-by-step how her unwelcome house guests were evicted!
