DALLAS — Looks like fans of Texas-based Blue Bell ice cream will get to have their cake (flavors) and eat them too.
Groom’s Cake may have taken the…cake in the recent “Great Scoop Revival Tournament” in which fans voted on which discontinued Blue Bell ice cream flavors to bring back, but Blue Bell recently announced they’re bringing back the Cookie Cake ice cream flavor too.
Both flavors will return to store shelves in 2025.
"The Great Scoop Revival Flavor Tournament” put 16 fan-favorite flavors head-to-head in a bracket, where only one flavor will win out. Groom’s Cake, described as "a luscious chocolate ice cream with chocolate cake pieces and chocolate coated strawberry hearts, surrounded by swirls of strawberry sauce and chocolate icing” won it all.
Blue Bell is available in 23 states and offers 24 year-round flavors, like Homemade Vanilla and Dutch Chocolate, as well as seasonal flavors that rotate in and out of production throughout the year.
