ATLANTA — Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A announced it's bringing back its banana pudding milkshake after a 13-year hiatus.
In 2011, the banana pudding milkshake made its initial debut, according to Chick-fil-A. It'll be officially back on the menu starting Monday, Aug. 26.
The milkshake is made with real bananas and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles, topped with whipped cream and a cherry. You can also order a new banana-based drink this year: banana-frosted coffee.
This week, the fast-food chain also announced the return of its honey pepper pimento chick sandwich and a spicy twist.
“Every decision we make regarding our menu is extremely intentional,” Director of Menu and Packaging at Chick-fil-A Allison Duncan said. “While our core products are what our Guests know and love us for, we also like to keep variety and innovation top of mind. Whether we are surprising our Guests with new flavors and offerings or taking classic items and bringing them back with a twist, each menu introduction is made after listening to their needs. We’re thrilled to be able to bring back two of our most popular picks this season!”
All of these options will be available for a limited time at participating restaurants.
