COLUMBIA, S.C. — The "official" 2024 City of Columbia Christmas ornament is now on sale.
The collectible ornaments have been in production since 1993 as a fundraising piece for the Babcock Center Foundation, each ornament depicts a different Columbia landmark. This year, the features an illustration of the Arcade Building at 1332 Main St. in downtown Columbia.
Ornaments cost $24 and can be purchased online or in person at Babcock Center Foundation Offices at 2725 Banny Jones Avenue in West Columbia and the Columbia Visitor’s Center, 1120 Lincoln St., or by calling the Babcock Center Foundation at 803-799-1970.
Each ornament is 24-karat gold on brass and comes in a felt keepsake case.
All proceeds from the sale of the ornaments go to the Babcock Center Foundation, a private, non-profit organization that supports more than 800 individuals with lifelong disabilities in Richland and Lexington counties.
