COLUMBIA, S.C. — It all began because one man wanted to make sure his relatives and friends in California and noticed how much of the country's veggies were grown on the West Coast.
That man, South Carolina's and WLTX's former meteorologist Jim Gandy, decided he would show the viewers how to grow their own vegetables.
And "Gandy's Garden" was born.
