Lexington County Peach Festival crowded on hot July 4th!

The 61st annual Peach Festival was filled with 4th of July visitors

GILBERT, S.C. — On a sweltering July 4th, the 61st Annual Lexington County Peach Festival had no shortage of patriotic visitors.

The annual event, which started at 9am, was packed with people eating, drinking, and enjoying their Fourth of July.

Visitors could enjoy all kinds of vendors. They were selling wind-chimes, wood signs, wreathes, clothes, trinkets, soaps, and countless other items.

Also, visitors had plenty of options when it came to food! There was barbecue, ice cream, all kinds of peach-flavored treats, hot-dogs, hamburgers, and many other stands.

If you missed it don't worry, the festival features fireworks at Gilbert Primary School at 10pm on July 4. Performers continue at Stage 1 of the festival till 11pm on the same evening.

The festival is free, but parking near the site is $5. However, there is free parking available at some spots.
