$13.4 million investment, 78 new jobs coming to Clarendon County

MANNING, S.C. — 84 Lumber announced it is growing its business in South Carolina with a $13.4 million investment to create a new facility in Clarendon County.

The new Manning-based site will be the company's second component plant in the state, manufacturing floor and roof trusses for coastal Carolina markets in Savannah, Charleston and Myrtle Beach. 84 Lumber already has a component plant in Lugoff, established in December 2023. Nationwide, the company operates 320 facilities and offers installation services for framing, insulation, siding, windows, roofing, decking and drywall.

The Clarendon County site will be located at 2378 Ram Bay Rd., in Manning, and is expected to create 78 new jobs. Individuals interested in joining the 84 Lumber team should visit the company’s careers page.
