COLUMBIA, S.C. — SC Works, part of the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW), is co-hosting a hiring event geared toward veterans, active and retired service members and their families on Wednesday, May 25.
SC Works, along with the SC Army & Air National Guard, SC National Guard Service Member & Family Care, and the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve will host representatives from over 70 employers from various industries. The event, which is also open to the general public, will be at the Bluff Road Armory at 1225 Bluff Road from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and come prepared for possible interviews with updated resumes.
