COLUMBIA, S.C. — If you have ever thought about purchasing a first home in the City of Columbia, you may want to plan to attend Columbia's Community Development Department's Homebuyer Workshop.
Attendees to the free workshop will get a better understanding of the process of purchasing a first home, including
- questions about credit
- how to get a mortgage loan
- budgeting and savings for home buyers
Although the workshop is free, you should register if you plan to attend. The workshop will be held 6-8 p.m. April 17, at Earlewood Park, 1113 Recreation Dr. Refreshments will be provided.
