Roller stool recalled after 10 injuries

Recalled Pittsburgh Automotive Pneumatic Roller Seat

CALABASAS, Calif — After 10 injuries, Harbor Freight Tools recalled their roller chair. 478,800 Pittsburgh Automotive Pneumatic Roller Seats are being sent back because they can snap at the stem. 

The California equipment retailer reported 96 incidents of the the seat post breaking. U.S. safety regulators have determined the product to be a hazard and recommended replacing or refunding the stools.

The swivel seats were sold nationwide in Harbor Freight stores and online from July 2014 through September 2021 for $30.
