Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia Metropolitan Airport is the newest location for one of Air Wisconsin's flight crew bases.
A regional carrier for United operating as United Express, Air Wisconsin plans to add about 150 new pilot and flight attendant positions, according to Bob Frisch, Sr., vice president and chief operating officer for Air Wisconsin.
These new positions come as the airline's maintenance crew was recently expanded at the Columbia airport.
The base plans to be operation by October 1 with daily flights to Chicago and Washington Dulles.
