Annual fireworks show and band playing tonight at Lexington amphitheater

The annual Fourth of July Spectacular is taking place tonight at the Town of Lexington's Icehouse Amphitheater.

Tonight, the town of Lexington is putting on their annual Fourth of July Spectacular complete with music, food, drinks and a big fireworks show.

“This is a large professional show," says Walker Brewer, Downtown Venue Promoter for the Town of Lexington, "We’re working with a local Lexington based company. They shoot all up and down the east coast so we’ll have fireworks that you would see at a large scale show will be right here in Lexington tonight.”

Tonight’s event will also feature a South Carolina military band.

“We will have the 246th Army Band. It’s the South Carolina National Guard," Walker told us, "They will be taking the stage at 7:30 and will wrap up about 9 and we’ll shoot some great fireworks shortly after that.”

This event is FREE and open to the public and will also have food and drink vendors on site.
