Cam Smith is long and athletic, which is why he had offers from a number of Power 5 schools.
But in his return to the Midlands for his senior season, Smith decided to make the short drive to USC where he will bring that frame to Will Muschamp's program.
This week, Cam is representing Westwood High School at the Shrine Bowl. In January, he will be in San Antonio at the All American Bowl, so this Saturday marks his final game in the Palmetto State.
He is coming off season where Westwood advanced to the second round of the 4A playoffs where it lost a wild game to region rival Ridge View.
But as the only Redhawk on the Shrine Bowl roster, Smith says he is looking forward to going up against the best players from the Tar Heel state.
