Springdale, SC (WLTX) - Springdale police have arrested two people after a child was found in a hotel room where meth was being manufactured.
Officers say they got a call August 10th that a 4-year-old child might be in danger at the Days Inn at 110 Branch Road.
When officers opened the door to the room, they say they saw drug paraphernalia in plain view, and found evidence that meth was being made there. Officers say drugs, needles, and other drug making materials were all there within the reach of the child.
Paramedics took the child to the hospital as a precaution.
Officers say after an investigation, they charged 30-year-old Crystal McDaniel and 34-year-old Sean Howard. McDaniel was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a scheduled narcotic, possession of drug paraphernalia and exposing a child to methamphetamine. Howard was charged with providing officers with false information after he was found to have given a fake name during the investigation.
