(Columbia) - Officials at Crayton Middle School was evacuated Wednesday after a landscaping crew punctured a gas line around noon.Karen York, a spokeswoman for Richland District 1 said the entire building was evacuated. About 900 students had to leave the premises.The Columbia Fire Department and and SCEG responded to the incident. They checked the area and said no fumes were present. The area was all clear around 1:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
