SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. — A 15-year-old who had been reported missing has been found safe, according to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say just hours after asking for the public's help to find him, the teen was found safe and returned home.
The teen had last been seen by his family on Tuesday, July 23. On Monday, deputies responded to an area on Point Drive where he was reported seen, but a search of the location and surrounding area near Cane Savannah was unsuccessful.
