Adams County deputy arrested on suspicion of harassment and domestic violence

An Adams County Sheriff's Office deputy was arrested Tuesday on charges related to harassment and domestic violence, according to a news release from the county.

Deputy Vincent Potter, the man arrested on suspicion of those charges, was an employee in the jail division, the sheriff's office said.

Potter was arrested in his home sometime on Tuesday without incident. He is on paid administrative leave, per sheriff's office policy, pending an internal investigation.
