COLUMBIA, S.C. — A 46-year-old Columbia man is facing charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor after an investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, Richland County Sheriff's Department and Owatonna, Minnesota Police Department.
Sean Patrick Dodd was arrested on May 5, 2024, and charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, second degree, a felony that carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison for each charge.
Investigators allege Dodd distributed files of child sexual abuse material.
The South Carolina Attorney General's Office will prosecute the case.
