Columbia Police release photo of vehicle allegedly involved in hit-and-run

The victim in the case was using a crosswalk and suffered a broken leg in the crash.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Columbia Police are looking for a vehicle and driver involved in a hit-and-run in mid-March.

According to investigators, the crash happened in the 800 block of Blossom Street on March 15 and left a female victim with a broken leg. Police said the victim was using a crosswalk at the time she was hit.

Police have since released a photo of the vehicle they believe was responsible for the crash which is believed to be a gold or tan 2008 Toyota Highlander.  They believe the vehicle may have damage to the front end and driver's side wheel well.
