Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- The Richland County Sheriff's Department arrest and charge a hit and run suspect.
Deputies say 63-year-old Albert Reese was driving Bluff Road back on March 3rd when he rear-ended another car.
That's when deputies say Reese jumped out of his vehicle, yelled at the driver that she could not call police, and then bent the SC tag on the back of his van.
When the victim got out of her car to take a picture of the damage, Reese yelled and assaulted the victim, then drove off.
The Richland County Sheriff's Department, along with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, were able to arrest Reese at his home without incident.
Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Reese is facing additional charges from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, and has been transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
