Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Deputies have arrested a man they say exposed himself in front of an employee at a Richland County library.

Deputies have arrested Curtis McKie, 39, for two counts of indecent exposure.

The incident happened at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Richland County Public Library on Assembly Street.

Investigators say a Security Officer with the library called law enforcement about McKie exposing and fondling himself to an employee inside the business.

When deputies responded to the scene they caught Mckie in the act and arrested him.

Sheriff Leon Lott says Mckie was also reported exposing and fondling himself on June 30 at the Richland Library Wheatley on Woodrow Street.

He says an investigator with the Richland County Sheriff's Department Special Victims Unit was assigned the case, and immediately responded when employees called to report the McKie's behavior on Thursday.

Authorities say McKie has two prior charges for the same crime in other jurisdictions.

He is currently being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Sheriff Lott asks that if you have been a victim of McKie to please contact the Richland County Sheriff's Department or call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CrimeSC.
