Richland County, SC (WLTX) - One person is dead after a shooting on Pine Street near downtown Columbia early Saturday evening.
Police responded to a shots fired call at approximately 4:30 p.m. on the 1300 block of Pine Street.
The male victim was transported by EMS to the hospital where medical staff pronounced him dead.
Officers say the shooting was not a random act and that they have good leads on who the suspect is.
The Columbia Police Department is continuing to investigate this shooting.
