LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — A woman has died and a man has been injured in an early morning shooting in Lexington County.
Lexington County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the incident that occurred early this morning in the 600 block of Pine Grove Road near Leesville. The woman was shot to death in front of the home at that address. The man was taken to a nearby hospital by EMS and is receiving treatment.
The coroner identified the victim as 55-year-old Emily Zeigler. The office confirmed the shooting location was her home and described the other person shot as an acquaintance.
