Coroner identifies teen killed in Richland County shooting on May 12

Richland County Sheriff's Department deputies are investigating a shooting that left a person dead on Friday evening.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — The person killed in a shooting in Richland County on Friday evening has been identified by Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford.

According to the Richland County Sheriff's Department, the shooting happened around 7 p.m. May 12 in the 2500 block of Crofton Way.

Deputies arrived on the scene and found a person with multiple gunshot wounds that was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner's office has identified the victim as Antonio Riley, 18, of Columbia.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.
