Sumter County deputies are looking for two men after one of them reportedly shot another man on Christmas Day.
Deputies say two men entered the El Cheapo Convenience Store on Broad Street across from Shaw Air Force Base around 6:30 p.m., where they got into an argument with a customer inside the store.
As the argument escalated outside, deputies say one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the lower body before fleeing.
The victim, a 20-year-old man, was taken to a Columbia hospital, where he was last listed in stable condition.
Deputies are asking for the public’s help to identify the two men shown in surveillance video pictures. They were driving a white vehicle, also shown in surveillance images.
