COLUMBIA, S.C. — One person is dead following a shooting in northeast Columbia on Wednesday night.
According to the Richland County Sheriff's Department which shared details about the shooting around 9:30 p.m., deputies were called to a shooting at the Nexus at Sandhill Apartments at 780 Fashion Drive.
According to the coroner, deputies found 17-year-old Marquel T. Walker of Columbia dead in the parking lot of the apartments.
