FOREST ACRES, S.C. — The Forest Acres Police Department is investigating a shooting reported on Saturday night.
Police said dispatchers received reports of gunfire just after 8:30 p.m. in the area of Carillon Court off Forest Drive. A spokesperson said detectives are now on the scene speaking to witnesses, collecting evidence and pursuing leads. They said no injuries have been reported in the shooting, but the incident is still under investigation.
Police encouraged anyone with information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
