FOREST ACRES, S.C. — Authorities in Forest Acres have detained three people in an armed burglary investigation at an apartment complex.
Initially, Forest Acres Police said that two suspects were already in custody following the armed burglary which happened at Ravenwood Hills Apartments off Bethel Church Road.
However, the search continued for some time afterward authorities said. At 6:50 p.m., police announced that the manhunt had ended with a third arrest and all three were being questioned.
Information about an arrest will be made available at a later time, however, authorities said the area is currently back to normal.
Authorities said that police were on the scene within two minutes of the 911 call being received. Forest Acres also thanked the Richland County Sheriff's Department and Columbia Police Department for assisting in going unit by unit to ensure that everyone is safe.
There were no known reported injuries.
