LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — A Lexington County man found with multiple stolen vehicles from different states has been charged for having them and trying to sell at least one.

On Tuesday, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Minh Thanh Hoang with three counts of possession of a stolen vehicle.

Arrest warrants state that Hoang was found to have a 2016 Dodge SRT Hellcat reported stolen from an Atlanta airport, a 2021 Chevrolet Suburban Z71 reported stolen in Houston, Texas, and a 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 TRX reported stolen in Orlando, Florida.

An attempt to sell the latter vehicle led to a charge of obtaining money under false pretenses because he sold the vehicle to someone without a title for $13,000. The victim said they were not aware that the vehicle had been stolen. Investigators also accused Hoang of displaying a fake vehicle identification number on the Suburban to hide the real one.
