RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — A 41-year-old man is in jail charged with murdering his brother on Sunday afternoon in Richland County.
According to preliminary details released by the Richland County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to the 200 block of Shoreditch Drive around 5 p.m. due to reports of an unresponsive man.
Deputies said the 40-year-old victim, who was found in the backyard of the home, died at the scene.
His brother, Samuel Dantzler, has since been charged with the murder, having allegedly attacked his brother with a baseball bat causing fatal injuries.
Investigators are still working to determine what led up to the attack.
