ELGIN, S.C. — Richland County deputies are searching for a suspect who they say shot a man riding his bicycle.
The shooting took place at 1 a.m. Thursday on 10890 Two Notch Road, which is between Pontiac and Elgin.
Officers say a 32-year-old man was riding his bike down the road when someone in a car traveling in the same direction as him shot him.
There's no description on the vehicle involved. The victim was transported to the hospital.
