A mother in Lower Richland is trying to help investigators piece together what happened to her 15-year-old daughter. The girl's body was found two weeks ago, beaten and burned.Firefighters had responded to a grass fire at the intersection of Montgomery and Pincushion Roads. Once they put the fire out, they found Erica Eaddy's body. It was early Saturday morning, April 17th.Erica's mom had last seen her daughter that Thursday night. Now investigators are trying to piece together a timeline for the 34 hours Erica was missing.Brenda McCoy says her daughter had dreams of being a singer, or writer. "Right now, I'm in turmoil. I'm still trying to figure out who would do this."Erica had last attended an alternative school in Columbia, and was formerly a student at Dreher High School.
