COLUMBIA, S.C. — One person is injured after a shooting in downtown Columbia Tuesday afternoon.
Officials say they responded to a shots fired call at the corner of Barnwell & Calhoun streets around 4:20 Tuesday. When they arrived, police say they found a person with a gunshot wound to the lower left leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
Officials say the scene is still active and they have no suspect information at this time. There is no word on the condition of the victim.
