COLUMBIA, S.C. — An armed robbery was reported in downtown Columbia Wednesday afternoon.
According to a tweet by the Columbia Police Department teams are at the intersection of Barnwell and Richland Streets.
Police say they are working to determine if the suspect remains at a nearby house.
No public threat according to police.
Officers are in the surrounding area as a precaution and to help with traffic control.
